Snip--"Steve Castor Education
Castor grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from George Washington University with a law degree.

Steve Castor Law Career
Castor began by working for Congress, he practised commercial litigation in Philadelphia and Washington D.C.

Castor has largely worked behind the scenes for the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee since 2005. He was hired by former Republican House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Tom Davis. Castor was a top attorney during the GOPís investigations of Benghazi and the IRS targeting scandal.

Snip--"Steve Castor Style
Castorís style of questioning has been described as annoying to witnesses and those representing them. He likes to ask the same questions over and over again, and during the hearings, itís expected that he will follow a dialogue of questioning that will please Trump."

Snip--'Steve Castor Depositions"

Since October 2019, Goldman and Castor led the questioning of witnesses in the private impeachment proceedings, gathering information into whether Trump abused his power in pressuring Ukraine to launch two politically beneficial probes while using a coveted White House meeting and nearly $400 million in military aid as leverage.

During the closed-door depositions, Castor has interrogated officials about Burisma, an energy company in Ukraine that employed former Vice President Joe Bidenís son Hunter on its board, and another into an unsubstantiated theory that Ukraine interfered in the 2016 election on behalf of Hilary Clinton. The US intelligence community has found that Russia interfered in that election to boost Trump."

1. Stephen Miller with spray on hair.

And seemingly, without a clue. Painful to watch.

4. Perhaps he needs a bit of Castor oil?

Sorry. Couldn't resist, given the subject line.

7. Homonym spelling error: Castor is minority "counsel." "Council" is a group of people. nt

8. "top attorney during the GOP's investigations of Benghazi and the IRS targeting scandal"

Well, at least they got someone whose main experience is grandstanding over baseless cases. Of course, with those his own team has control of the hearings.

9. I know I'm biased, but that didn't seem to go very well.

Did he accomplish anything? He sounded impatient for his time to run out.

13. It didn't.

I do not know how good a lawyer he is, but he really had nothing to go on here. His weak questioning was surely the best anyone could do in these circumstances. I'd bet he can't wait to get home and slam a few stiff drinks down.

12. Steve Castor, junior partner at "I Can't Believe It's a Law Firm!"

His mentor, the late Lionel Hutz, once described Castor as being the oil that runs the firm.
