Why don't you go talk with the victims of Republican policies and programs, and maybe see what real suffering is all about. You could start in Arizona, and have a look at what the pay day lenders, oops, sorry, the title loan folks are doing. Did you know they're rallying support for a cut in the minimum wage so that people will be more dependent on them and their 204% APR loans? Talk to the mom with two or three kids who's about to lose her car, job and home, in that order so that the sharks at the title loan companies can make even more money.

Talk to the veteran (you care about veterans, right?) who can't get in to see a doctor because the VA says his PTSD or his bum knee aren't service related.

Have a little chat with the undocumented immigrant (if you can find him or her) and find out what it's like to jump at every siren, work under the table for very little money, likely as not to get stiffed after putting in a work shift that would leave you on your hands and knees, sobbing from the pain.

After you've talked with a few thousand of those people, come on back and tell me now hard your life is.
