A pro-life Republican who couldn't vote for Bevin because of Trump

I live in the East End of Louisville. I am a registered Republican. I am an evangelical Christian, pro-life, for traditional marriage and as conservative as you can get. I have boasted to my friends for years that I have never voted for a Democrat ...

I could not vote for Bevin because in recent months I saw him align himself closer and closer to Donald J. Trump. That alone changed my mind ...

Trump is morally depraved. He is completely self-serving. He is a bully. He is an admitted sexual assailant. He thinks he is a god and above the law. He is a liar (almost every time he opens his mouth). He promotes violence against others, especially anyone who disagrees with him. He is a racist. He lacks the basic understanding of government and leadership needed to lead our nation. It appears obvious that he is guilty of collusion with a foreign government in an attempt to tamper with our 2016 elections, guilty of obstruction of justice in how he dealt with James Comey and others, guilty of obstruction of justice in refusing to cooperate with the current impeachment inquiry, guilty of abusing his power and the resources of this great nation by attempting to bribe a foreign government to investigate his political opponent ...

1. No doubt he'd be happy with Mike Pounce.

But it's good to know there are at least some fundies who'll draw the line at Trump.

4. This guy is a microcosm of the KY election result

No doubt many more like him crossed party lines or abstained from voting. There is a significant gap between Trump's 30-odd-percent rock-solid base and the 46 percent who voted for him in 2016. Many of the latter are less-than-satisfied with Trump's performance, blatantly corrupt actions, and off-putting behavior, and will not be making the same mistake come November 2020. The same applies for the Bevin-type assholes who will feel the impact of reverse coattails in next years' competitive races.

2. This certainly is encouraging

But we need LOTS more of them to wake up from their slumber of delusion.

I can tell you .... I see it all the time .... there are way too many "one issue" voters, and that issue is abortion. People who are so vehemently anti-abortion that they overlook any other issue on the table, and would vote for the Devil himself over a Democrat, because Democrats are "baby killers."

3. and those abortion issue voters are deluded about the orange pustule.

He has paid for numerous abortions over the years. He wanted Marla to abort Tiffany.
