2. Cowards. Should have stayed and dealt w/ the mess...they didn't do it at the beginning, and they...

are not doing (dealing w/ the mess) it now. Some Americans, eh? Next time a repug gripes about something, I'll tell them of the mess that they caused by not properly vesting rump, by not voting jointly w/ democrats to stop the idiot from passing dumba&& laws (the 2017 tax cut and jobs bill was unneeded, but caused deficits to skyrocket and income disparities to become even worse). Repugs seem to forget that people too, need money and decent wages to buy stuff that their billionaire buddies sell to the rest of us.

4. That sounds so high. Were they replaced?

I've been looking into the current makeup of the House and I can't find this information.

EDIT: I guess a lot of this is the people who lost their elections.

7. Some are people who have announced they are not running again in 2018

Like Susan Brooks in Indiana 6th District has announced she will not run in 2018. So it gives a dem a better chance running against a totally new Repuke. Although a totally ignorant and corruptible Republican could end up replacing her. Especially in Indiana.

8. A lot of them simpy "aren't running again." That doesn't guarantee we get the seats.

Especially if it's a red district.

9. +1

IMO, some of them would not have announced retirements if they didn't think there would be a red successor.

10. I don't think anyone really likes being in the minority. Being a Ranking Member is not the same...

as being a Committee Chair. I feel so sorry for them.
