Tuesday and Wednesday the temps are going into the teens at night.

This is way too early. Watch the "climate deniers" be out in full force saying how "there is no such thing as global warming. Look at how cold it is."

Tulsa, OK - it is now 34 with high winds and some light misty rain. Looks like a little freezing rain to come but won't last long according to the forecast.
Tomorrow it is supposed to be sunny and cold.

I grew up in Rochester NY, off the shores of Lake Ontario, and, when my husband and I were first married, he was stationed at KI Sawyer. AFB in the upper peninsula of Michigan where they average 220 inches of snow each winter.

I’m fairly tough.

I'm lucky that Veterans day is a company holiday where I work so I'm home on the couch. Be safe everyone who has to drive in this! The first storms always seem the worst because the drivers forget how to drive and the snow removal crews seem to struggle with their first time on the routes too.

Cold front on the way bringing rain and much colder temps. Freezing in some areas. Possible winter precipitation north of us in small amounts. Then temps will go back up to the 60s. 57. I actually like the early winter snows.

I usually go walk at the metropark close to me. It's so peaceful when it's snowing and no one else goes there. I see all sorts of wildlife. It's like a Christmas card come to life.

However, by January I'm over it.

Can't for the life of me see what there is to do there or why anyone would want to retire there. It's a great summer day trip, but other than that, the last time I was there I thought there were only two restaurants to pick from!

88. I used to live in Milford, Oakland county.

Had our own carpet and upholstery biz fo years there. Retired. Needed to find a lower cost of living place. My wife and I hike, kayak and just generally love being outside. Hated traffic and way too many people around. So Hale checked all the boxes.
My DIL wondered what we did all day also...answer is whatever we want to do. Getting ready to expand my “Farm”acy of medicinals plants. We hike 3 to 5 miles a day, have wonderful rivers and lakes to kayak on. Bake bread, read books, listen to great music. Very eventful days

99. Milford is pretty.

I'm retired also and have no problem filling my days. I'm an avid reader, volunteer at the library, hike or walk at the metropark nearly every day, listen to whatever music I'm in the mood for at any given time, cook or not cook, whatever I want.

I'm surprised you thought Milford was busy. Seemed sort of rural the one time I was there.

74. Oh, just rub it in why don't you?

Just kidding. I actually think I would be bored with all sunny weather and warm most of the time. I think that has a lot to do with growing up with snow and cloudy days. I lived in the South for several years and there were only two snowy days the entire time I lived there (NC). It was the best of both worlds since I could be in the mountains within a 2-hour drive if I really wanted to see snow or ski.
