Literally stealing from Vets...

You need to be a special kind of stealing wankerish arsehole... alongside being a psychopath even think about trying to pull this kind of shit.
How much more odious does he need to become before they turn on him? There will be a turning point, but it needs to come sooner or later...

1. And used some of the money to bribe the Florida state attorney general to drop a lawsuit against him

Imagine the Republican outrage if Obama did anything like that.

Actually, that’s not quite right. If Obama had done something like that it would mean he’s corrupt and the Republicans could do business with him. Their animus toward Obama was that he was honest and took governance seriously.

Judge fines Trump $2 million for misusing charity foundation

New York state Judge Saliann Scarpulla imposed the penalty after the president admitted to a series of abuses outlined in a lawsuit brought against him last year by the New York attorney general’s office.

Among other things, Trump acknowledged in a legal filing that he allowed his presidential campaign staff to coordinate with the Trump Foundation in holding a fundraiser for veterans during the run-up to the 2016 Iowa caucuses. The event was designed “to further Mr. Trump’s political campaign,” Scarpulla said.

7. Ah, thanks.

I figured it had something to do with Trump's fake "charity."

5. Great post. This point should be raised again and again.

Good journalist should ask every Republican in Congress this question on Veterans Day:
“If a US President admitted to stealing $2million in pledges made to Veterans’ charities, would you support or oppose impeachment for that crime?”

As usual, there's no excuse for the way Trump has treated veterans. None.
