Following live results of Kentucky election

Showing Beshear and Bevin within a point of each other either way. Its gonna be a nailbiter.

As an aside--remind me not to do this again!
I went to the grade school to vote this morning. Poll workers say, no, no--you've already been sent an absentee ballot. I just thought, well I'm going to be here, might as well just go in person. No big deal. These little bitty women (all came up to about my navel), said you may have to go to the courthouse to turn that in first. Crap. Don't even know if I saved it. One gets on the phone for about 20 minutes, and they finally decide I can sign, an Oath, then vote. 45 minutes for the whole process.

Some who have gotten a confusion about their ballot were counted as "provisional" ballots. Unless they followed up, the provisionalballot may not be counted. Sometimes it's something like the address match, sometimes it's a question of whether or not they voted via absentee ballot.

Call your election office tomorrow to see if you need to do anything to make sure your vote is counted.

When I lived in California, I was a poll inspector for a number of years and the itty bitty ladies were correct. If you want to vote in person after you have received an absentee ballot, you need to turn it in at the polling place. Some people do that. But if you don't then you could potentially vote twice and there would be no way to identify which ballots were yours.

Glad they let you sign the oath. We frequently had to make people vote provisional.

You don't want the little old ladies to come after you, do you?

Thanks for being patient and insuring that your voice is heard.

Good thing you went early and not late evening. Glad you hung in there. 👍

Headline on msnbc:
"Impeachment faces first big test in Kentucky governor’s election"

Nailbiter indeed!

Beshear is around 2% ahead of Bevin with not enough Republican votes left to make up the difference and still quite a few Louisville votes left which Beshear is winning 2 to 1.

Yep yep. ❤ Virginia.

Proud of KY voters too. As I said, looking bad for tRump.

Thanks, Oliver.

The more results that come in from Jefferson County/Louisville, and Fayette County/Lexington, puts Beshear ahead. He's 30 points ahead of Bevin in Louisville. This is all per MSNBC/Kornacki.

We could pull this out for the win. Which would be a big slap in the face to tRump.

Bevin is saying he's not going to concede. He'll have to go to court to get an order for a recount.
