Tuscaloosa is not a big city. The LSU game will double its population and quadruple its traffic.
His presence there will cause massive traffic disruption before the game. It's all about him, everything else be damned.
But actually my primary purpose for starting this thread was to say GEAUX TIGERS!

1. Trump can really piss them off by
having the Secret Service cancel all tailgate activities around the stadium. I think fans and alumni of both teams would make certain he knew what it means to be treated worse than anyone in the US.

8. You stop LSU fans from tailgating, which involves some of the best food on the planet,
And you will have some pissed off cajuns.
As someone from part Cajun heritage myself, unfortunately that crowd will be pro-trump. But not all of them. It will be interesting... We Southerns, both liberal and conservative alike tend to be rather boisterous, especially when good and liquored up. Would not be surprised to see fights in the crowd when he is introduced. Because while the crowd will be majority white, it will also be majority college educated. Not trumps best group. I went to an SEC school. No doubt the vast majority of their supporters are hard core right wingers. But the Alumni is not the same. The biggest assholes I have ever met who support SEC schools never darkened their halls. If he is searching for a crowd to give him unanimous praise he should have gone NASCAR. |

9. I took a look at 'Bama's fans' football forums.
It was hard to maneuver through that setup, but there were some football fans pissed he is showing up. They don't like the logistical interference, and some don't like trump. But most thought he is the greatest prez since Lincoln.

2. Keep trying until you find an audience that will cheer him.
Alabama/LSU ought to do it.
Only other possibility is a Kid Rock show. With Dennis Miller MC. |

3. I wish he had planned a Saints game, instead.
Would not be pretty for him. And the Superdome gets LOUD!

4. It is the second largest city in Alabama.
I think only Montgomery is larger.

7. Trump searches for friendly ground. He calls them dumb southerners and they love him.
