Any time I ever questioned Nancy Pelosi's wisdom in the past.... I was wrong.

She's a freaking genius.

That's all. If I ever disparaged her out of frustration for not moving on impeachment quick enough, I was wrong.

Trump probably won't be removed.... but these upcoming open hearings will be politically damaging for him and the GOP.

Forcing Collins, Tillis, Gardner, McSally, and Ernst on the record.... with actual votes to acquit or convict... will win us the Senate at a minimum.

If those five in purple states vote to convict, they will lose the GOP base ... and the election. If they vote to acquit, they will lose the independents... and the election.

Nancy has maneuvered vulnerable Senate Republicans into a lose-lose situation. All five of those senators will be eating Maalox like its halloween candy in the coming weeks.

Glad you see what many of us knew about her and that she was the right one to lead during these dangerous times....

force him to resign. The Republican base is growing smaller and therefore the % is very low. Apparently he still have strong support in the rural areas but even that is slowly facing obstacles. The Republicans have gerrymandering, purging, suppressions, downright stealing, and foreign help. But alas, it may not be enough.

The GOP wants to survive and I think many are seeing it.

Watching Speaker Pelosi play Trump like a Strad is joyous. Let's all bask in her powerful control.

When she and Senator Schumer forced Trump to own the government shut-down I was impressed by how she manipulated him.

When she got in his face and said, "With you, all roads lead to Putin," I realized she was not intimidated by Trump at all. She stood up in the room full of mostly white men and demonstrated her toughness, I saw someone braver than even the military people in that room.

When she held her fire on impeachment until Trump publicly admitted his wrong-doing, I realized she is at least 5-10 moves ahead of most everybody, including you and me.

In our history, there have been some truly awful Speakers including Gingrich and Boehner, but Ms. Pelosi is head and shoulders above the really good ones, like Tip O'Neill.

I trust Nancy. She's going to win this fight.

but it only works if the Democrats get less polite and shove the Republicans' votes up their ass. Here's hoping.
