So, here is a plausible path forward for Lindsay G.?

Ditch Trump and latch on to Romney?

Plus there are many others who want to ditch Trump, but are afraid of the push back from the GOPers base?

Maybe Lindsay would finally get his dream job with Romney?

as a parasite that can’t live on his own without a host. Kinda funny really. Kinda true.

I would suspect the majority of the mainstream republicans would prefer Romney to Trump. But the magats would revolt.

would indeed prefer Romney to Trump, but they know they have to make sure that the fundies stay happy enough to vote GOP. That's what sunk Mittens in 2012, and Trump/Pence are a fundie dream come true.

The country clubbers simply have to be satisfied with their big tax breaks until the Trump era has fully passed.

They didn't want to give Mormon missionaries another talking point ("Our President belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!&quot as they're going around poaching the flocks.

That's a key reason Mittens lost in 2012, as I stated earlier.

between corporate America, Evangelicals, and middle America.

I guess it really is easier to fool someone than to convince them they have been fooled.

Tax breaks and regulatory relief for the country clubbers, arch-conservative judges for the fundies, and fear of Democratic politicians for everybody else in the base.
