(21,859 posts)some of them start of small, rolling feeling, this one was more of a punch, then a roll. I jumped. But it was small. If Schiff was home in Burbank he probably felt it too.

(63,221 posts)This is so important. I have never been through a major earthquake, but I have been through several smaller ones and even they can be scary.
I was fortunate to live on bedrock when I lived in San Francisco so I didn't suffer the effects that my friends did who were on less stable ground, but it was still unnerving. I know that we aren't immune here on the east coast, but I am glad I am not out there anymore. You just never knew when it was going to be the big one.
