Up to 60 mph at 1800 EDT. And named.
Model runs suggest it hits the Apalachicola area on Saturday, maybe running along the coast then goes out to sea over the Outer Banks...
BUT
By Wednesday, almost all models make it do a left turn and head anywhere from NYC to Boston to the Maritimes.

(12,047 posts)4. yeah, but it's moving fast, t-storms are way out ahead of center of circulation
It's a very lopsided, disorganized storm, forward speed expected to increase, not much time to develop

(268,716 posts)3. The really good news is that Nestor is moving very fast -22mph
so while there's a lot of rain and 60 mph winds can do damage, unless it slows down, it won't stay around for long. This is no 2018 Michael.
