The former prevents you from taking a similar job with a rival organization. They generally run for up to two years. The latter, OTOH, prevent you from disclosing whatever went on behind closed doors at your former employer. They generally have no expiration date, and mean youre never allowed to reveal the circumstances surrounding your dismissal or anything else.
