It is interesting to watch him squirm, at times, during this Trump speech/meandering.

Yet, in the House - he is a staunch supporter. It is awesome irony to see how many winces/glances down (eg cover one's face from the press) that he makes during this speech.

Perhaps he is a wee bit uncomfortable sleeping in the bed that he created? But yet, he persists (as a staunch Trump cheer leader in the House.)
