Trump rally prompts neighboring First Avenue to donate Thursday's profits to Planned Parenthood

While the debate rages on over who’s paying for what when President Donald Trump visits neighboring Target Center on Thursday, First Avenue nightclub and its restaurant the Depot Tavern aren’t quibbling. They will give all their profits that day to Planned Parenthood North Central States.

Minneapolis is a progressive city and Trump coming to town is stirring up the resistance!

1. I hope that fact is promoted in such a way that the visiting Trumpkins

from Stearns County are aware of it, maybe some signage out in front. Maybe the MAGAts would see those signs as they drive around and around the block in their pickup trucks searching desperately for a place to park.

no room for parking their monster trucks!

3. I'm almost tempted to go downtown and park my car in the Target Center ramp,

and then take the bus home, just to make one less parking space available to those idiots. But I think I'll stay away from that goat rodeo.

4. Why is he even holding a rally in Minneapolis?

I am so sick of this lazy-assed, do-nothing president who spends our tax dollars campaigning for his next election. I cannot WAIT for the day he is out of office, or better yet, dead.

6. He's doing it because it's a Dem stronghold in Ilhan Omar's district.

You can be sure he'll insult Omar while claiming Minneapolis is a crime-ridden hellhole (it isn't). But he's about as popular here as a case of hemorrhoids, so he'll be playing to the MAGAts from the surrounding counties who hate Minneapolis because it's full of liberals.

7. That's what I thought, it's a Dem stronghold so who does he think he is going to

influence. Everyone there hates him. Only his MAGAt supporters from outside the city will attend and he will, once again, be preaching to the choir. What is the point? He is just stirring up hate within his base.

Never mind, I think I just answered my own question. I really hope to hell this is not an attempt to incite stochastic terrorism against Omar by those who are geographically closest to her. A chill just went down my spine because it occurred to me that this may be exactly what he is planning.
