Fox News Exclusive: Barr's hatchetman has trouble finding evidence that would debunk collusion.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/durham-investigation-trump-campaign-surveillance-expanded-scope

EXCLUSIVE – John Durham, the U.S. attorney reviewing the origins of the 2016 counterintelligence investigation into Russia and the Trump campaign, is probing a wider timeline than previously known, according to multiple senior administration officials.

Fox News previously reported that Durham would be reviewing the days leading up to the 2016 election and through the inauguration.

However, based on what he has been finding, Durham has expanded his investigation adding agents and resources, the senior administration officials said. The timeline has grown from the beginning of the probe through the election and now has included a post-election timeline through the spring of 2017, up to when Robert Mueller was named special counsel.

Attorney General Bill Barr and Durham traveled to Italy recently to talk to law enforcement officials there about the probe and have also had conversations with officials in the U.K. and Australia about the investigation, according to multiple sources familiar with the meetings.

Certain segments of the intelligence community and the Democratic Party are 'scared to death' of what U.S. Attorney John Durham will find, says Fox News contributor Sol Wisenberg, former deputy independent counsel.

Barr assigned Durham, the U.S. attorney in Connecticut, back in May to conduct the inquiry into alleged misconduct and improper surveillance of the Trump campaign in 2016, as well as whether Democrats were the ones who'd improperly colluded with foreign actors.

So... Durham is investigating the events of the 2016 campaign-season... and that's why he has expanded the probe to 2017.

1. Can we hope that Durham is an honest man?

Inquiring minds want to know.

9. Chuck Rosenberg was on Morning Joe earlier

he apparently knows Durham (and may have possibly worked with him).

Said that as long as he's known him, he's always found him to be honest and thoughtful about his work product.

But then, as he said in the next sentence, that is what he thought about Bill Barr, an was totally wrong on that.

3. This should be (in their minds) a constant counter to the investigations of Trump

but no one outside the Fox News bubble is even aware of it.

4. While Durham & (Low) Barr

are scouring Eastern Europe for morsels to help Trump, they ought
to investigate Cabinet Member Wilbur Ross for his involvement in
plundering of the Greek Government.

What are the odds Wilbur's corruption will be exposed?

7. Wilbur Ross Still Holds Interest In Shipping Fund He Promised To Divest

https://www.forbes.com/sites/danalexander/2019/09/16/wilbur-ross-still-holds-interest-in-shipping-fund-he-promised-to-divest/#7db8d6def3a0

Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross did not cut ties to a shipping fund he promised to divest, according to a new financial disclosure report obtained by Forbes. He still owns an interest in Starboard Recovery Associates LP worth $1,000 to $15,000. Under the liabilities section of the filing, Ross also lists a “capital commitment” to a related company for $1 million to $5 million.

Previous Forbes investigations revealed how Ross lied about his net worth, remained in business with the Chinese government while in office and filed a false document with federal officials. On July 12, 2018, the acting director of the Office of Government Ethics condemned Ross in a scathing letter, just as Forbes was about to publish to another investigation, which would reveal dozens of documented meetings between Ross and companies tied to his personal fortune.

In a public statement issued that night, Ross said he made accidental mistakes and promised bold action: “To maintain the public trust,” he said, “I have directed that all of my equity holdings be sold and the proceeds place in U.S. Treasury securities.” Over the next several months, Ross did sell some of his interests, including the vast majority of his stake in Starboard. But he did not get rid of everything.

snip

fucking uber-grifter criminal scum

and he is continuing to try to fucking destroy Greece all over again with the bullshit dereg claptrap

Greece could follow U.S. and deregulate to push growth: Commerce Secretary Ross

5. It really is amazing to think we have a taxpayer-funded, world expedition in progress for the sole

purpose of overturning years of work of United States law enforcement and intelligence investigations. But I guess as long as they don't kneel during the national anthem it's all good.

12. The article didn't indicate he was having trouble finding evidence

just that he has widened the scope of his investigation?
