This morning's Sundland bullshit...what is the endgame for all of this? Because it ain't stopping.

The Washington Post
@washingtonpost

Rep. Adam Schiff on Gordon Sondland's blocked testimony: "The failure to produce this witness ... we consider yet additional, strong evidence of obstruction of the Constitutional functions of Congress."

That's how you keep a dictator in line! Tell him he's obstructing! Whoa! What a shock! Yes sir, we'll just catalog that refusal to comply with a Congressional subpoena in our file cabinet and get to it some time later. Now, let's move on to the next order to a witness to not testify. That ought to bring new light to the investigation.

That was such a stupid move by Trump. They won't make that mistake again. They will force us to go through the courts for everything they can from here on out. It should be expected.

Unless whistleblower #2 has something magic to share, it's going to be nothing but stonewalling. All of the subpoenas are being treated as if they were printed on 2-ply.

They will take issue with the administration treating them as such and eventually require them to turn over just about everything.

You have a video of a guy with gun, a bag of money, bills dropping out of it, fleeing a bank.

We consider this evidence that a bank robbery has occurred and that is against law.

Same guy is caught on tape doing the same thing at another bank

for any single action to address it. So, while it's clearly a gambit aimed at public opinion and self-preservation for the Trump administration not to cooperate, it's also a Hail Mary strategy.

There are other potential witnesses that are not under White House control, including the whistleblowers. The unredacted Mueller Report may surface. Use what you have and prepare the best case for your caucus to vote on impeachment, and the American people are the final jury.

This means that at some point, impeachment can't be an initiative among committee chairs and not the full House. If a Democratic majority doesn't support impeachment at this point, that's a whole other problem.

One of the holdouts is our congressman, Ron Kind. He needs to be contacted - repeatedly. He will have no viable opponent in 2020 for him to worry about this vote politically. There's no excuses at this point for not standing with the caucus majority on impeachment.

that the "endgame" is nothing more than to stall while Trump pays back favors to those who see the writing on the wall that his Presidency coming to an end. A rational, un-compromised individual would resign. But Trump has favors to pay back, and those folks know time is running out. The Ukrainian call is clearly just the tip of the iceberg; the other calls on that secret server probably show clear extortion, bribery and other crimes.

His behavior is getting worse for all to see.

He's really on trial right now, House Dems are the persecution and he's the defendant, with his henchman and GOPers defending him.

The American people are the jury. So far, Dems are winning.
