(25,489 posts)He was careful to protect himself of course but he didnt impress me as a hero ever. I understand how people would feel positive toward him especially in light of how Republicans are today

1. Well, I'm not a crook! (Which actually had to do with his taxes, rather than Watergate, per se).
2. What did the President know, and when did he know it?
One was Nixon at a press conference in Florida.
The other was Howard Baker during the Senate Watergate hearings.

(38,414 posts)some people might see Nixon in more positive light compared with the Trump/Republican show. I never thought we could ever go through that again. In some ways, this is worse. At least most of this show is coming out for all to see.
