THIS IS IN NO WAY INTENDED AS A CRITICISM OF OUR DEMOCRATS

True enough. Public sentiment is turning against Trump . . . . at least for now. But, do we need better messaging to keep it turning against him? We are up against a messaging/branding maestro. Take the word "corruption" just as a for instance. It appears to be sticking as a new meme against Biden and by extension all Democrats. Trump is really good at this. He is changing some minds or at the very least, holding minds predisposed to support him.

Who is our Loudmouth? Yes, I used that word intentionally. A Loudmouth who can insert our countervailing memes into the public consciousness. The media will not do it as they are weasels who play bothsiderism.

I honestly can't think of a person who can fill this role.

So . . . . . do we need such a person? And if we do, who?

the problem isn't that we lack people who can talk.

the problem is that we don't own the microphone the way republicans do.

look back to the 2016 campaign. hillary talked herself sick, she was out on the campaign trail talking up a storm.

but the networks gave 80% of the airtime to donnie, and 80% of "hillary's" airtime was all about the fake scandal nonsense, between emails and benghazi and pizzagate and so on.

that left about 4% of the airtime for hillary's actual message.

the networks literally chose to cover an empty podium with donnie's name on it instead of covering what hillary was saying.

so tell me, where's the microphone?

before, you know...

Anyway, great post. Trump is a mobster, a crook, a con man, a tax cheat, an extortionist and, of course, a congenital liar. Biden called him “Mr. President” the other day. That shouldn’t happen, but it does because our leaders are decent and too many have remained too genteel given the direction the Republican Party has taken for oh so many years. We have some people who can throw a punch, but they are not in leadership roles.

Give the T V media some competition for all that money they get from elections. Is there any one who doesn't give T V money ? Subscribers, advertisers, politicial ads, they have it coming in from everywhere. $$$$$$$$$$$ Screw them for confusing so many.

And don't be fooled. His base might believe his bullshit but oddly enough, there is a near-unanimous chorus, both from Democrats & some Republicans as well as from the media, that what he has done and continues to do, is illegal and impeachable.

I.e., he is "self-impeaching".

There is an oft-repeated old saying - "Never interfere with an enemy while he's in the process of destroying himself."

A CNN spokesperson said in a statement that the ad does not meet its advertising standards.

“Specifically, in addition to disparaging CNN and its journalists, the ad makes assertions that have been proven demonstrably false by various news outlets, including CNN," the spokesperson said.
