President Obama sitting in a chair. That's after having Biden interview John Loevitz (sp??) playing his pathalogical lyer charact from Saturday Night Live as Paul Ryan (I'm married to Morgan Fairchild, walked on the moon, ran a sub 2hr marathon...that's the ticket).

And I can think of a long list of celebrities who could talk about the environment.

Question is whether Obama would want them there since his achievements in these areas is not what either he or they would really like.

on a hanger off to the rear side of the stage and just leave it there...say nothing. Or they could hang the business suit next to an empty jogging suit.

So I guess we should all just let our ideas go by the wayside.

Although.... I must admit to thinking along the same lines you were/are.

^snip^

I'm thinking animatronic empty suit Romney with an etch a sketch

and have someone (like Sen. Franken) ask the suit questions about the flip flops and lies. Then the suit shakes the etch a sketch over it's head (if there were a head). With each question the thing shakes harder, then with two hands, then the whole body gets shaking and finally it falls over backward.

It should be done on day 1 or 2 and during the day. Doing it in prime time on day 4 is not an option.

7. Obama is handling it right. The DNC needs to show we're the adults

So many things could go wrong if we even reference Eastwood. All speeches - especially celebrities' - need to be vetted so we're not hoist on our own petard, and the media can't point to some stunt and use the canard, "Well, democrats do it too," or, "Both sides do it."

I'm enjoying the joke as much as anyone - the internet and the late night jokesters are doing a good job of keeping it in peoples' minds so let's let them keep doing it. If we have an empty suit, an empty table of Romney's tax returns, or whatever, it's going to look like we're beating up on beloved old man, Clint Eastwood, instead of getting our message out and refuting theirs.
