Trump's road from wishing for impeachment to dreading it

https://www.politico.com/news/2019/09/27/trump-impeachment-whistleblower-ukraine-004984

I found this particularly interesting...

Trump critics say the president’s habit of firing aides so habitually may hurt him as Congress looks for witnesses and the president tries to stay on message.

“The president’s HR practices are going to come back to haunt him here because he is uncomfortable apparently with truth-tellers in his inner circle,” said Timothy Naftali, a professor of public service at NYU and a co-author of “Impeachment: An American History.”

“He is likely to not get good advice from the acolytes who are left,” Naftali said. “He does not have Don McGahn anymore to tell him not to cross a trip cord.”

reprehensible and disgusting behavior on a daily basis. When rump does something in particular disgusting or utters some crap about some group or such (media has been a target), he's targeting a group of Americans. Remember this, every time he utters some crap or disgusting comment, he's attacking a fellow group of Americans (and his f**king coward buddies in Congress, for the most part, are silent/go along with it).

He'll never get anyone competent to work for him. He's destroyed the office/executive branch. Like his casinos and other businesses ... no wonder he's declared bankruptcy so many times. Basically for being an incompetent a&&, he got to walk away from his debts and start afresh (ripping off tons of debt holders in the meantime). We are seeing his bankruptcy MO in full 3D, no blinders on.

Fight and to be Impeached by the House! He wants it to go to trial in the Senate where he will have basically unlimited subpoena power to question anybody under oath about anything.

I think it would be a better choice to just beat him in 2020 and not go the impeachment and Senate trial route!

Doing so is up to Moscow Mitch.
Now, to be fair, he would make this decision at his own peril.

But if he decides that its better for him not to, you can bet yours ass that's EXACTLY what he will do, constitutional intent be dammned (see Merrick Garland).

That is a personal attack!! Also the Senate once the House of Representatives has impeached must hold the trial! Read the constitution! Have nothing more to say to you!!

Section 6 states:

The Senate shall have the sole power to try all impeachments...

All this means is that ONLY the Senate CAN try impeachments, NOT that they MUST if the House Votes for it. McConnell can NOT try an impeachment all he wants, until a Court orders him otherwise.
