6. Yes. It would be delicious if this all circles back to 2016 hijinks.

Ukraine seems like a piece of that puzzle to me. Knowing that there are Russian troops in eastern Ukraine and they are dependent on us for their safety. Another favor to Putin.

Putin, and many Russians, think of Ukraine as a Russian province.

So, yeah, your postulate is far from out of the realm of possibility.
