1. Old Nixon and Fat Nixon are similar in a lot of ways.

The main difference is that Old Nixon seemed sane in public.

3. No relationship to watergate at all, as Nixon was unaware of

Burglary and probably would have vetoed it from happening. 1972 election was always going to a Nixon landslide win. Why most of American was flabbergasted by the undertaking. Like what? You are up 15pts, McGovern be lucky to win 2 states.

Lots of evidence to contradict that. Plus there are some Nixon mob ties to go along with it all.

5. You've missed the entire point

The Watergate break-in was a result of the "plumbers" and other sabotage initiated by Nixon intended to plug leeks and undermine Ted Kennedy, whom he was terrified would run against him in 72. whether or not he personally knew about the break-in in advance is completely beside the point.
