Looks like the Bahamas could be taking a direct hit, then pray it turns north soon if u are on the FL east coast

Half the storm will still be over land.

And even if true, the trade off should be worth it.

3. As long as the eye stays over warm water it should retain it's strength.

Unless dry air sucks the strength out of it like it has for other hurricanes.
