Clint Eastwood, actor/director/whatever, was supporting the republican party by giving a "surprise guest speaker" speech that was at best a debacle. It almost looked to me like it was scripted to be horrible. Was this planned to throw a wrench into the already effed up convention? Is he truly right wing? I don't know his politics, and he's never been one of the actors I even cared to watch on screen, but I do know this: what he did last night appeared scripted to look like a guano crazy old fart going on a rant. So was it a deliberate attempt to derail?

Or am I giving all of them too much credit.

Clint just jumped the shark here. It really hurt the Repubs. I think. It made them look coo coo for Cocoa Puffs. (which they really are)
