It could be considered an act of war!

If the Iranian Navy shows up to escort it back and is attacked by the US Navy...then it is an act of war!!!

6. K&R! Yes it's a violation. FBI and Navy investigators arrest Navy personnel of any rank.

But Navy officers will not be arrested for following orders. After failing to create a real "national emergency" on the border, Trump will settle for starting a war to obtain reelection.

Who remembers Operation Sledgehammer?

4. Piracy, if not officially sanctioned.

Act of war if it is.

Although these days, when state actors do bad things, it's called terrorism.

Unless, of course, we do it. Who has the leverage to hold the US to account?

5. Torture was also a violation of international law

as is locking up children in cages, invading and occupying a nation and a lot of other crimes committed by the US and others with impunity.
