Did Romney Get His "Game Changer"

I have read all week that Romney's speech needed to be a "game changer" or a "reintroduction" or whatever. Sadly, I missed it. I was busy playing with our kitten and the time just flew by. I am sure I will be kicking myself for weeks.

Anyway, was it a game changer? Did he soar with the eagles? Did he inspire a nation to believe again? Did he win the hearts and minds of the common man? Did the Statue of Liberty climax at the end?

Or should I go back to throwing fake mice to my cat?

Inserted at the last minute were some asides about the need for "backbone" in U.S. foreign policy. I think he was referring to getting tough with Iran and Russia, but he didn't spell it out in great detail. He wants a U.S. military so powerful that nobody will even think of challenging us.

It wasn't a great speech but it had all the applause lines you'd expect. He's far too earnest to be taken seriously - he's as stiff as a board. The Republicans have shot themselves in the foot by nominating such a square.

You didn't miss anything. You and the cat had fun.

designed to convince undecideds he isn't dangerous. Hopefully, they see his lack of substance first and foremost.

Now picture it robotically pivoting right-center-left-center-right, etc. but instead of water it is spraying a slurry of BS, platitudes and lies.

Now picture it with an awkward grin promising to start several wars.

Okay, you are up to speed!

I have seen a few speeches by Romney and he is always very monotone with his eyes bugging out. He literally looks like a deer in the headlights
