3. No need to cut and paste the text...

I've never understood why that is done, to tell you the truth. Always get these OPs with the same tweet text posted 2, 3, even 4 times.

4. It is done because those few who are not able to see embedded tweets become very upset when we

don't.

Rather than making everyone else have to wade through the clutter that results.

threads, so I try to accommodate whenever possible.

13. I appreciate being able to see the text, but haven't complained when I can't.

I like to be in the know, despite the old computer, os, etc. But when I can't see the tweet discussed, and can't get context from the discussion, I just back out of the thread. No crying.

17. The issue is some people read the forums while at work

While DU is not blocked for them, Twitter is, and they can't read the complete posts unless the text is copied.

27. Can't they bring it up with their employer?

Say something like "I can't see posted tweets when I'm reading DU at work! Could you please unblock them?"
Threaten to quit if they don't fix it! Make it the employer's problem!

10. Yes. Some people seem vexed by the request for the courtesy of taking that extra step.

It isn't that hard, folks. Those people kind of suck (I put this in the "don't be an asshole" category).

Why post this if you don't post the actual sentence?

7. Sometimes I suspect tRump is bipolar.

Many of his speeches sure look like manic episodes.....

Who the hell could sit and listen to 67-minutes of his rambling bullshit and lies?

15. Yes, in my experience the repetition is quite common with bipolar folks.

"Joe! You've told me that 10 times already during this call"......

I remember one guy that was bipolar that had trained himself to recognize his manic episodes almost as if a timer had gone off. He would stop his ranting almost instantly and usually apologize, then allow the meeting to go on. Some others I knew I unfortunately had no choice but to just hang up the phone after say.....and hour. I guess I'm too easy and was raised to be courteous.

KY.........

20. Trump is juiced up on Adderall

Amphetamines produce similar symptoms to Bipolar mania: 'She'd never taken speed before - told her her life story in triplicate'.

35. It's a reversible side effect but ...

depending on the dose, and the amphetamine, the by products can literally dissolve the brain. Excess dopamine can resolve into hydrogen peroxide - not in therapeutic doses - more like over doses.

33. Yes, an old country expression.

Or, just "running off at the mouth".

And there was another one the old men used: "if you ran off at the rear end like you do from your mouth, you wouldn't live an hour".

Good old clean country humor......

But heck, he has Walter Reed and a his own personal physician. You would think he would be the picture of health.....

Seems like he could get anything he wants. Executive order?.....

I'm sure they're pulling some bullshit to keep him glued together.

His repetition is not him having a psychotic episode-Period.

36. Not denigrating any illness, just discussing experiences.

No one here really knows tRump's true mental condition and he many have his doctors fooled.

Not possible even for professionals from afar, as his history is unknown and it's not published for sure what drugs he's using.

We certainly do have a long list of symptoms, though.

he possesses no knowledge of anything other than a few paragraphs of Mein Kampf

He knows nothing at all about business, any kind of business.

He has never known anything about anything.
