because we don't have the votes

The USA is always one General Election away from installing another psychopath with plenty of GOP henchmen. We just can't be trusted.

There are so many factors to blame and the repug party is right in the middle of all of them. Our education system has been continually undermined and underfunded and under attack by the repugs for decades resulting in stupid magats running around cheering and voting for a blasphemous fool masquerading as president who is stoking racism and anti-immigrant fervor.

What could go wrong with that? Every effin' thing.

Other factors are long-extant daggers hanging over the countries head. We've never deal openly and in good faith with what was done to black people, Native Americans and Latinx and idiot trump has been able to exploit that and even further divide the country.

Then of course there is the sexism that trump even seems to be proud of. There is the export of so many jobs, which of course is and has been down by American corps not content with good profits with American works. It's always about making even more profits by moving jobs overseas to exploit lower paid workers.

This is a serious issue that is not going to self resolve.

If all that is required for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing, then come election day if everybody on the Left does not make the choice to get out and vote for the Democratic candidate for president, the only person who can stop Trump, they are doing nothing to stop his evil.
