Am I right in that the Russians' plan to disrupt our election in 2016 AND 2020...

is to pit part of the country against the rest through racial fights and hate?

Right now, it looks to me like they are succeeding.

I certainly denounce Trump's horrible comments, along with Lindsey's trashy remarks and others on the right. Probably the worst is the silence from most Republicans in Congress. Are they too ashamed to jump in or too scared?

...but remember, right now they aren't even running against a person, just an amorphous cloud of Democratic candidates from which one will eventually emerge. when that one arrives, watch out! we're going to see a smear campaign with infinite money run by the GRU and a thoroughly corrupt + amoral GOP to promote a billionaire incumbent candidate who loves to punch down.

They have helped him weaponize hate and create an illusion that he's of all-powerful.

The GOP benefits from the fighting because they are currently in charge and getting what they want.

Trump, GOP and Russia are engaged in a mutually beneficial relationship.

the Soviet Union and Communism were our great and sworn enemies. I remember Sputnik and ducking and covering under my wooden school desk to "protect" myself in the event of a Soviet nuclear missile attack. Putin has finally won the Cold War and without firing a shot. He has manipulated and fucked with our elections, planted a malignant cancer in our Democracy and sown internal chaos through the installed Trump regime, all aided and abetted by complicit or compromised Republican Congresspeople. Stalin, Khrushchev, Brezhnev, etc. are all laughing their asses off at us from that great dacha in the sky.

of a local business. If you loved the U.S.A., you hated the Soviets and Communism. There was a Communist under every bed.

I suppose that is why I can't believe Republicans are now their "bestest" buddies because they were certainly the most avid enemies during my childhood.

Science: Climate change denial. Anti-vax propaganda.

Gender: have you heard that a group of 15-year-old boys defeated the women's soccer team before the World Cup?
