*Principal Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley attempted to reiterate the same rhetoric

of Donald Trump and Attorney General Bill Barr when discussing Trump’s census defeat on Fox News — perpetuating the claim that, despite what it looks like, the Supreme Court’s ruling was actually a vindication for the president. In the process, Gidley openly admitted that Donald actually believes, and evidently intends to execute things in the future based on this belief, that he is not “beholden” to the rulings of the courts.

“The Supreme Court even ruled this question could be on there, but it was impossible to get it on in time for printing,” Gidley stated.

Unsurprisingly enough, the White House spokesperson conveniently left out that fact that Trump’s question is “impossible” to add because the courts found that it violates the law. Or the fact that Donald and his administration attempted to be so damn shady about the whole ordeal that the census process would have had to start all over again to even entertain the idea of adding the question a second time, which there was no the time for.

“We looked at inserts, we looked at all types of options,” Gidley went on. “And the president said: ‘Listen. I’m not going to be beholden to courts anymore. I have the legal authority to find out this information. The American people deserve to know it. So I’m moving forward with this method.'”'>>>
