My reddit question to the POTUS. Wondering what everyones opinion is..(never did get to post it)

Mr. President.

Thank you so much for taking the time to come to our little corner of the internet. My question is a bit of a two parter:

In light of the recent increase of reports in not only police brutality, but also techniques such as stop and frisk, kettling, overt use of "less lethal" crowd control, killing of house hold animals, unexplained deaths of suspects in custody, warrantless spying, etc.. Does your administration have any plans to address the frightening escalation in the militarization of the our police forces? Also as a side note to that. Do you feel that the "War on Drugs" or "War on Crime" in this country have been in any way successful in decreasing drugs or crime? How would you and your administration change these issues in your second term.
