1. I think the responses to people like a few of the original tweeters/posters

tended to amplify the original message - another woman that got upset over black Ariel (not the one with a half black BFF) got thousands of responses criticizing her,but the massive amount of responses kept her original tweet in many Twitter timelines. I mean, I kept seeing it for days because people I followed responded strongly to her and got a lot of likes/retweets on their own.

In reality, I've run into hundreds of racists on facebook and twitter who are railing against a black Ariel.
