Giving a convention speech in front of a friendly audience after being prepped for days by handlers is not that difficult of a task. A few zingers here and there, and the media will give him an A+.

None of the RNC speakers have been so far, unless one counts Chris Christie's screaming and shouting as excitement. Paul Ryan is a competent speaker but he is still very cold and aloof and unfeeling. Sort of like Romney, only younger. The RNC is a snooze fest but most of the time the RNCs are.
