on edit: These dolls were once owned by an eccentric old lady who put them out every holiday in a tableau. I bought them from her at a garage sale for 5 bucks out of a sense of sentimental duty. This is their first time out since then. They are used to be center stage. THANKS for liking!

23. Sadly, these dolls are decomposing

They had previously been used for 25 years of holiday displays in my neighborhood. My local detention center sits on Indian land, so the parking strip in front of the facility is Tribal land and the elders have given permission for protests there.

Beyond that, I guess if I have to go to jail for justice, I am doing it for a good reason.

30. What we as a nation have witnessed

is sickening.

We need to take the fight to the evildoers. Wherever we are. I know people who post signs on highways. I know people who stand on busy intersections with signs. I know people who stand in their driveways with signs. We all need to be those people. Silence is support.

If you are afraid of bullies, try little subversive actions. During the Bush era, we used to print messages on Avery address labels and stick them on vending machines. We used to make flags with Bush's face on them and glue them to toothpicks and leave them planted in dog poop. These were DU actions.

When Trump was first installed, the Nat. Enquirer in my local grocery store had the papers turned backwards by a whole group of us whenever we saw his face on a cover. They stopped putting the rag out by the checkout stand. Mission accomplished.

Update: The 4th of Trump children in the cage upset someone enough to try and kick them over, but the cage was made of sterner stuff than the raging MAGA who had a hissy fit in front of my display. They can try attacking it again after it gets planted at the ICE Detention Center.
