Andrea Greenspan didn't see Palin's "witty, sassy sparkle" in Chris Christie last night

Just now on the Morning Intern Killer Comedy Hour.

Brokaw and Scarborough are also mourning the absence of an "electrifying" Sarah Palin moment last night.

to discover a reason for the lack luster. The repubs should be celebrating their brand and candidate instead the audience, for the most part, whimpers response, shuns the Ron Paul delegates and the speakers generally fail to offer any solutions to buck up the country. It's depressing to watch but I won't miss a moment!

At least that's what the initial comments sounded like from Charlie Rose and Norah O'Donnell. I had to take my son to school so I don't know if they turned into a full-fledged lovefest or not.

"You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear." I also think the convention has been run from the get go like a shot gun wedding. The repubs just could't get Mitt formally nominated fast enough.

Then there was the bruhaha of the Ron Paul delegates, the booing with the Puerto Rico lady at the podium...Boehner's ridiculous bar analogy speech, mixed messages on needing or not needing love from ANN and Christie, ad infinitum. I don't know how they could possibly put a positive spin on an event that was not handled as well as most high school proms. imho Sorry for the rant!

We can only hope that TPTB in the rnc will wise up and give her a speaking role in the remaining two days of the convention.

Even better - the party should shit can romney and ryan and nominate palin.

She's their only hope.
