Joking with Putin over eliminating journalists is a betrayal. And so is ignoring it.

... there’s absolutely no reason to think that what happened between the president of the United States and Russian leader Vladi­mir Putin on Friday will make a difference or change minds.

But it really should.

According to Bloomberg News reporter Jennifer Jacobs, who was traveling with the president to the G-20 summit in Osaka, Trump “bonded with Putin” over his scorn for journalists ...

6. A "spectacular job" at what?

Hacking apart a journalist? A "friend" of his? Trump really assumes friendships with very little to go on. He meets somebody once, chats with them for a little while and suddenly they are "great friends". I don't think he has ever had a real friend in his life, so it doesn't surprise me that he doesn't understand the meaning of the word.
