near the U of C Santa Barbara campus in 1970 for their racial hiring practices and war profiteering. Several clashes with the police with tear gas and rock throwing. Later one of the branch offices was burnt.

After it was over a local radio station advertised the bank with, “Bank Of America has a branch office just a stone’s throw from where you live.”

Thank you for posting this historic event. This was an important moment.

I do hope that other corporations will follow Bank of America and stop doing business with the concentration camps. Which congresspersons have these corporate prisons in their investment portfolios.

Wait till banks or other businesses start refusing to do business with Planned Parenthood, MoveOn, MAAD, etc. The list is long. What if no bank will let a clinic that provides abortions open an account? They're not "protected".
If you open a business to the public, you should serve the public as a whole.
