Not too bad so far. The power is out, and the rain is just starting to build up in the street. But we have a few more hours til the peak.

But for what it's worth, I called my parents in Mid-City about two hours ago; they lost power about 7:30 central time, but they're managing by candlelight.

It's just sitting there.
Luckily, it seems that the rain is easing up, but those winds are nasty.

you know, after last time.

But it doesn't look like there have been any mass evacuations. Booby Jindal even said he wasn't implementing contraflow on I-10. What gives?
