Nebraska school tries to FORCE DEAF THREE YEAR OLD TO CHANGE HIS NAME!

They claim the sign language gesture needed to spell his name is too similar to a "gun gesture".

I grew up 20 miles from Grand Island and used to take my shotgun to school with me on the bus for trap shooting. Hunting and shooting are a way of life in the Grand Island area. I might expect this nonsense in Chicago, LA or NY, shocking it's in Grand Island.

I live about 50 miles to the west of GI and not an evening goes by without some exceedingly stupid news story coming out of that thoroughly screwed up little town.

They are one sad mess over there, in so many ways.
