I think two thoughts.
1. The person flying it must be a racist asshole who has no problem with law enforcement murdering people of color.
2. It's a helluva U.S. Flag Code violation for these assholes who claim to have cornered "patriotism" as if it's there's alone.
Am I way off base here?

(58,647 posts)I respect Police officers as much as anybody, but the "Blue Lives Matter" movement as a counter to Black Lives Matter was underhanded and petty, IMNSHO.
I never responded to that on facebook. I basically ignored it.

(2,517 posts)I think you're spot on and have the same reaction.
Those fuckers sporting that flag are using it to create distraction/noise to dampen legit concerns of many persons of color that for the police, it's more or less open season on black people without any consequences.
This comment excepts those persons in law enforcement that are honorable and not racist fucks that are former highschool football player bully types.

That how I imagine people of color feel when they see this flag.

(182,774 posts)We all know the source of it. People who fly it are basically saying - Yes I will follow whatever the voices tell me to.

(4,143 posts)for some of my friends are cops, and one was killed in the line of duty. That's when I got it...to show support for Sean.
I also have blue lights for my porch in solidarity with him. He was "suicided" the day before he was set to testify against the crooked BPD task force.

I'll fly it again whenever it's time to show support for him, and don't give a flying rat's ass what anybody thinks of it.
Just my two cents.

(4,143 posts)I understand how it could go that way.
It goes out for Sean alone from now on. His suit is ongoing, and his family is really suffering.
