Race baiting or not?

the Boehner quote

“My dad and my uncles owned a bar outside of Cincinnati. I worked there growing up, mopping floors, waiting tables. Believe me when I say I learned how to deal with every character who walked in the door. So let’s say right now, a guy walked into our bar and said, ‘the private sector is doing fine.’ Well, do you know what we’d do? That’s right: we’d throw him out. … If a guy walked into our bar … and said, ‘if you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that,' do you know what we’d do? Throw him out. …. President Obama just doesn’t get this. He can’t fix the economy because he doesn’t know how it was built. So in 70 days, when the American people walk into the voting booth, what should we do? Throw him out. “

The Right Wing does plenty of race baiting but I don't see how this is it. Some people think it is. Am I missing something? My question for the poll is...

Is this race baiting?

1. It doesn't look like it to me, but maybe I am missing something since I'm not from Ohio?

But it is taking that quote way way out of context again.

4. Maybe this is generational, but I had the same reaction as Lawrence and probably Matthews

To my not-young white male liberal mind the story kept boiling down the hostility an outsider faces in a working class bar, and the image of a bunch of white guys tossing the black guy out of the bar for being an outsider/different.

I found it menacing in character.

I don't believe that Boner is necessarily racist and I don't think he said this to appear to be. What I believe is that they know damn well that the imagery of someone physically removing a black man from office will appeal to racist white people and they want those votes. I think they intentionally worded it this way; cynical, not racist.
