MSNBC just aired Kevin McCarthy's full "rebuttal" to Pelosi's remarks

Cliffs Notes:

Trump did nothing wrong yesterday because it was a "hypothetical," said Trump would not allow "foreign interference"

It's really all the Dems' fault (Steele Dossier)

8. This point needs more details:

Jun 2019

(WaPo, May, 2017) "A month before Donald Trump clinched the Republican nomination, one of his closest allies in Congress, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, made a politically explosive assertion in a private conversation on Capitol Hill with his fellow GOP leaders: that Trump could be the beneficiary of payments from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"'There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,' McCarthy (R-Calif.) said, according to a recording of the June 15, 2016, exchange, which was listened to and verified by The Washington Post. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher is a Californian Republican known in Congress as a fervent defender of Putin and Russia."

As always, this shit just goes down the media memory hole.

..."The real issue is..." or "The real question should be asking is..."

And when you hear that you can just assume they are going to place the blame on Democrats.

McCarthy might even be slimier than Ryan, and that's saying something.

"So I'll substitute my own question for whatever inconvenient question was just posed. Oh, and it would be churlish of you to notice what I did. Just write down what I say, that's called journalism."

The insane base will remain with them regardless.

2020 and thereafter looks promising for Democrats.

The Republican party is totally crazy.
