3. I honestly think that the best way to keep people from murdering others...

is to find out why these crimes happen and work on those causes.

You know, the old ounce of prevention.

I am opposed to killing people under any circumstances. It amounts to revenge instead of justice.

5. Do you realize how many gang members are in LA County alone?

You have a situation where the Mexican Mafia/Eme is more powerful than the police. And they follow the orders of leaders doing life in Pelican Bay and other maximum security prisons. These people will not be changed.

6. Why do we kill people who kill people to show people that killing people is wrong?

7. They are in isolation *in name only* in the situation you describe. Fix that error, rather

than executing people if your priority is public safety or even justice. If your priority is blood-guiltiness, then I've got nothing to suggest beyond f-ing off, growing up, and/or adopting a moral philosophy that is less than two centuries out of date...

And that is setting aside the fringe hypothetical you have tossed out there. Most incarcerated people who continue to coordinate criminal conspiracies are not on death row, and most death row inmates are not continuing to coordinate criminal conspiracies, so your rush to execute them changes nothing about these "vast criminal empires on the streets." Maybe your hypothetical has a factual anecdote for basis, but even if that is so, it is more unicorn than universal.

As a matter of fact, a not insignificant number of death row inmates are innocent. So do you think they should get executed as an unfortunate by-product to eliminate these bogeyman "shot-callers"?

9. What the fuck are you talking about? Its not a hypothetical scenario. Learn how the penal system

Works in California before you judge me. And they aren't even on death row. They're in various Security Housing Units throughout the state. The people who control the streets are in jail. Doing life sentences. Thats a fact.
