Maureen had been married twice before John. One was annulled, I think, because the guy was not free to marry and the other one, very sad, her husband was killed shortly after the marriage. I know they had only been married a few years prior to Watergate and now...nearly 50 years later, they are still married. For some reason, I keep recalling that they were separated and I thought they had divorced and I am trying to remember why I am thinking this.
