4. Rhode Island's population density is 1,010.8 people per square mile.

Oregonís is 42.

Rhode Island has 40 miles of congested coastline.

Oregon has 363 miles of mostly unpopulated, pristine and public shore.

Rhode Islandís highest elevation is 812 feet.

Oregon tops out at 11,249 in a spectacular mountain range that runs nearly itís full length.

Rhode Island has 393,000 acres of forest while Oregon has 28,836,000.

Umpqua National Forest is larger than the entire state of Rhode Island and itís only one of twelve in Oregon.

I could go on and on, but to say Rhode Island has a better ďNatural EnvironmentĒ than Oregon is farcical.
