5. Another great tune from the same LP; The Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus.
I just love this one. Twelve Dreams is is so underrated.
Released in 1970. |

9. That was one of the greatest albums of the 1960s
And Spirit was one of the greatest unsung bands of the sixties. They made one fatal career decision: not to do Woodstock. There was SO much creativity in that band! Randy Wolf ("Randy California" ) was both an innovative guitarist and songwriter. He was a great loss. Jay Ferguson and Mark Andes are STILL writing music, much of it for TV nowadays.

10. I need to listen to the whole album
I found this song when I watched the mini-series "The 60's"
I remember the scene vividly. Vietnam, riots, the daughter (Julia Stiles) having a baby on her own because her parents kicked her out for being pregnant. That is after she got in trouble for dancing with a -gasp-black boy This was a fantastic series. I have it on VHS but wish I could get it on disc https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0169528/ |

11. Nature's way is not typical of the album
It's maybe not on a level with Sgt. Pepper or Younger Than Yesterday, but it is still an iconic collection of songs from a band with brilliant musicians at the height of their creativity, and very diverse.
