Will the magic invisible birth certificate be the main focus of the gop convention?

I mean, the president's magic, fake, disappearing birth certificate has been the number one subject matter and the greatest concern for the tea bag zealot party for years now, will it be the central theme of the party of tea tards?

Will mittler speak about the demonic birth certificate while wearing his magical underwear from the planet Kellog? Or will they make time for speeches explaining the magical workings of the legitimately raped female body?

Perhaps the supernatural birth certificate is being hidden in the same place all those mystical weapons of mass destruction were. Maybe they'll suggest waterboarding the president to finally extract the truth about the whereabouts of the birthanomicron of doom.

I know there are 8 birthers that will speak at the Nazi rally, 8 birthers. Will virtually all of them demand to see the magical mystery certificate? Is this truly, after 5 fucking years, truly all they have?

These people are not only pathetic, THEY'RE DANGEROUS TO US ALL.

Republicans will be able to do absolutely nothing about that. It will be part and parcel of their legacy and every speaker who demands the birth certificate will be known for the rest of their recorded history as Birthers. The Republican party will not ever be able to distance themselves from this. And just like Paul Ryan's rapid slide into the ugly Misogynist Hall of Shame because of his erstwhile pal and co conspirator Todd Akin, every other Republican who has anything to do with these Birthers will also find their once promising careers derailed by association.

Isn't that delicious?! This Republican Convention will be the gift that keeps on giving for a very, very long time. At least until the last of this generation's Republicans are history themselves. They don't know it but they're about to attend their Party's demise. They should have continued to keep their true agendas carefully hidden, but they chose to create the Tea Bag Party who will be front and center at this year's Republican Convention.

Karma, thy name is Tea Party.

Unless it all gets washed away by the hurricane. Funny to think that a hurricane could save them from their deserved legacy.

Because she is on the panel of tv personalities making running commentary and analysis there will be many on the Left watching that wouldn't bother otherwise.

Romney's use of it "gives permission" for any of them to do it. There will be (seriously-meant) signs and buttons about it, that the party can dismiss as 'just a few individuals'. There will be a lot more talk that is more of a dog-whistle on the subject - "Obama doesn't understand the American people", "he is 'anticolonial'", "his values aren't our values" and so on.

It's a way to keep the base interested; look at this poll from just last month:

"Barack Obama was born in the United States": Republicans Only
True 31%
False 33%
not sure 36%

http://today.yougov.com/news/2012/07/11/birthers-are-still-back/

Notice those numbers are slightly worse than before he showed the long form birth certificate in April 2011. When he did so, the Republican 'true' figure managed to rise to 47% (so, most of them still not believing their own lying eyes), but it's just sunk back since.

You're right to link this to 'magical', 'demonical' and 'supernatural'; this is the opinion of people who are gullible enough to be fooled by the entertainers or 'authority figures' that they listen to.

I hope we see the full venom of these lizards...turn it up to 12 and have at it. The more unhinged the better. I hope this week scares the votes out of millions of rational people who will see that Willard barely can control his message yet a party that's gone off the political abyss...
