Maybe Mueller isn't the man of integrity we all thought?
We believe he is because of his history of being a war hero and a by-the-book prosecutor, and because Trump attacked him and the investigation mercilessly.
But he IS a republican, and he has dinner with Barr on a regular basis. It may very well have all been a setup to crush us. It doesn't really matter to me either way. Right now, I'm looking forward to voting Trump out. I will do whayever I can between now and then to make that happen.

1. This is Barr's report, not Mueller's.
Dems are gonna have to subpoena.

4. Mueller allowed it to be Barr's report by deferring to him.
Mueller could have easily charged that they believe there's sufficient evidence to suggest the President obstructed justice in the investigation but that charging him would be out of their scope due to the general belief that you can't indict a sitting president. He didn't do that. He blatantly said they couldn't determine either way and that he would defer to the AG to make the call - who, obviously, was not going to charge Trump with obstruction.
Mueller punted and gave the game away to Trump. |

12. He had a choice what he put in the report.
If Mueller didn't find enough grounds to charge with obstruction, or suggest obstruction charges, and found there wasn't evidence to point to collusion, then Trump either is innocent in this or Mueller's report wasn't at the level it should have been.

2. Or maybe he is.
Sometimes serious, ramrod-straight integrity can look a lot like, "He belongs to the enemy because he doesn't exhibit favour toward us."
I'll wait for the report. I have far more troubles with Barr on that issue. |

5. Mueller deferred to Barr.
Therefore, it's Mueller's issue.

8. And Mueller deferred to him...
Mueller basically said they couldn't determine whether Trump committed obstruction and that it would be up to Barr, who was appointed by Trump, to make that determination.
So, either Mueller did a shoddy investigation, or punted because he didn't want to make a proclamation either way or Trump didn't commit obstruction. What do you think is more likely? Because Mueller had two years to build a case against Trump and his obstruction and the best we got out of it was, "maybe he did ... maybe he didn't, we'll let the GOP appointed Attorney General decide..." |

10. I think he is
The problem is he has people above him who have the final say, no matter what his conclusions would've been.

13. I don't think this gets placed on Mueller.
He’s not the problem to me.
The problem is much deeper. |
