But everyone expects the queen to stay out of politics completely. If she tried to intervene, or simply comments on the current shitshow, there might be some kind of revolution, or at the very least a change of rules to limit her powers to zero.

So it's the opposite of the head of state in my own country Germany, where the head of state (Bundespräsident) has almost no formal powers, but is expected to weigh in in general terms on important issues that affect society (without being partisan).

Obviously the US is entirely different to the UK or Germany, because your POTUS has lots of powers and is expected to have strong opinions. He's head of state and head of government at the same time, while we tend to have two separate offices for these jobs in Europe.
